massage & soft tissue techniques.

 

The goal of this type of treatment is to restore physical wellbeing and functional ability, so individuals can safely return to their sport or daily activities.

Sports Massage

Sports massage uses a variety of techniques with firmer pressure, to target the deeper layers of fascia and muscle to relax the soft tissue.

Although sports massage is generally targeted towards athletes, it isn't exclusive to only those that do sports - meaning anyone can have a sports massage.

Lymphatic Drainage Massage

Lymphatic drainage is a gentle form of massage, with the purpose of stimulating the natural flow of lymph fluid. This reduces swelling and aids with waste removal from tissues.

 

It uses light, rhythmic, stroking movements to move fluid towards the lymph nodes.
